iPhone 12 will not connect to Centurylink modem

I just had Centurylink installed and can get my pc to connect without issue, but my iPhone 12 will not. It keeps giving me a message "if your network security is managed by Wi-Fi Address (also known as mac address) you may need to turn off Private Wi-Fi Address or modify your network settings.

What does this mean?

iPhone 12
