when i put in my passcode to restore backup onto my iPhone it says my password is incorrect. How do I figure out my password?

You enter the password that you used to encrypted your itunes backup. Disable iOS backup encryption - Apple Community

If that were true, it wouldn't ask for the encryption password and you could use the itunes backup.
