For anything I search before Big Sur, they're automatically be shown in a preview panel on the right side of Spotlight. Now, they don't show up until you hit enter. how can I get the preview panel back?

The preview panel in Spotlight is by default now hidden in macOS Big Sur, apparently to make it faster. But you can still get a preview of anything found in Spotlight by pressing the Tab key on your keyboard, which immediately opens a preview panel on the right, as we used to have!
