Can someone please tell me if while my watch is away from my phone and I'm using cellular data, do I still receive all notifications from all apps as if my watch was next to my phone or are there some apps that just dont work on cellular. I seem to receive some notifications but not all ...many thanks
Notifications go to either your Apple Watch or iPhone, but not both. If your iPhone is unlocked, you'll get notifications on your iPhone instead of your Apple Watch. If your iPhone is locked or asleep, you'll get notifications on your Apple Watch, unless your Apple Watch is locked with your passcode. For more info, see:

thank you. So for some 3rd party apps i will not receive the notification if my watch is using cellular data and it is away from my phone or my phone or off. is that correct .

That is most likely correct. IT really depends on how the app developer implemented notification settings (between the iPhone and watch).
