does apple watch on cellular not recieve notifications that my phone recieves?

So I want all notifications my phone gets to be on my watch too. When my phone is nearby and connected to the watch with Bluetooth; everything works perfectly. However when I leave my phone at home (I’m at the gym) I pay for groceries on the way home. My chase app sends a notification to my phone but I get nothing on my watch. Nothing is Notification Center nor am I notified. When I get home, I check my phone and the notification is there in the Notification Center. How do I change this where I get notified of everything my phone does when my watch and phone are separated. (When watch is on its cellular)
