Can't add credit card to my apple watch

I'm trying to add my credit cards to the apple watch but can't do that as I'm getting the following message:



I could use that in the iPhone wallet and it's working properly but not in the apple watch.

Not only this card, when I'm clicking on add card from the apple watch wallet, I'm getting the same error.

I tried the following:

  1. updated both to the latest version
  2. restarted both devices
  3. Changed my location
  4. Reset the apple watch
  5. tried other cards
  6. removed the card and added them again
  7. Contacted apple support but didn't find the issue yet


Anyone faced this issue and solved it?

Hey mHmD137, Thanks for posting your question about setting up Apple Pay on your Apple Watch in the Apple Support Communities! A great place to start is by checking out the steps in the article: Set up Apple Pay, just to be sure that you had gone through the initial setup steps correctly. Beyond those steps it may be good to check your date and time settings to be sure that the correct time and region are set and try connecting to a different network. Also, have you tried contacting your card issuer as well?
