I installed IOS 14.5 and I have wrist detection enabled in the Watch app, but still the switch to enable iPhone unlock with Apple Watch, is grayed out.
Did you also installed watchOS 7.4 on your Watch?
Tell us also which iPhone model and Watch Series you have.
Thank you. It was my mistake. I upgraded the phone, but not the watch. Once upgraded, it worked fine.
