The mail app no longer tells me which email address of mine received the email

The mail app no longer tells me which email address of mine received the email. I used to be able to touch my name in the sent to line and then the word recent would appear next to the email address that it was sent to. I might be mid remembering but I thought the star next to my blue email address would be gold as well. I’ve heard that if I reply I can tell but I don’t want to do that. I double checked my contact for (me) and the addresses are all listed.
