Greetings Kheim2117!

From your post we see you are trying to change your iPad's Safari home page as well as adding a home button to the toolbar. We are happy to help! A great option to use for changing the home page is to go to the website you would like to use, then select the "Share" icon to the right of the address bar, and from there select "Add to Home Screen". Then you can place the icon where you prefer and select it anytime to open directly to that page. Since iPadOS doesn't use a home screen in the same way that many other devices do, there is not currently a button to return to a home page.

We hope that helps! Take care.
