how can I connect two external hard drives to a MacBook Air

I just tried with an adapter, one of hard drive did mount but not the second one


MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

You don't mention which MacBook Air you have so I can't recommend a specific hub, but just get a powered usb hub, connect it to the MBA and connect the drives to it. The important thing is to get a powered hub.
