How can I delete an app from my iPad? When I tap and hold it just wiggles....

With your finger on the app you wish to delete, when the apps jiggle, either leave your finger on the app until pop-up menu list appears, giving you an option to delete the app OR simply tap the large X that appears in the upper corner of any app icon to delete an app.
