Incomplete boot-up, stuck buffering???

IMac starts, desktop and menu bar visible, mouse non responsive, buffer circle is spinning all else is non functional, disk insert not mounting...Desktop pic is showing!! Is my drives directory screwed??

mac stuck on folder blinking my mac just randomly started to randomly not turn on, i powered it on and it started flashing a folder with a question mark. it says the disk is fine, but when i try to reinstall macOS X maverick it says there’s no disk found. help me please. i use my computer for college!!

iMac Won’t open, after long time sometimes can run first aid but does not correct Opens vert slowly holding OPTION COMMAND R , RAN FIRST AID MANY TIMES, CANT FIND A STARTUP DISK TO OPEN POPUP INDICATES THAT THE REGULAR START UP DISK I USED WILL NOT WORK TO STARTUP… HAVE NEVER CHANGED SPSTARTUP DISK ONLY ON EVER USEDHAS NOT BEEN CHANGED..

First try booting into safe mode How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support then reboot normally
