I can’t sign into iMessage or facetime on my iPad or MacBook. I have tired restarting both. I am connected to WiFi. I have removed the app and reinstalled but still get an activation error. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone have suggestions for getting past the activation error when signing into FaceTime not already listed in apple support?
