I followed the erase instructions and my iphone 7 went black then the apple icon appeared and then it went black again and shut down. I received an email that the 'find my' function is disabled. I went into iCloud and removed the device from my account. is it ready to return or do I need any other confirmation that the phone is erased?

if you wanted to confirm, you could power on the phone.. it should be displaying the 'Hello' screen and iterating thru other languages. Then just turn it off again
