macos mail flags

At one time, when viewing mail, there was a column displaying the flag assigned to the message. I've not been able to get this view in MacOS Big Sur. Is there a setting or an option that I am missing. Can someone point me to instructions on how to add the flag column to my mail views. I am using Mail=>view=>use column layout.

I think I figured it out. Hold down Control key on a column header and a list of checked and unchecked headers will appear. Be sure Flags is checked. Hope that helps!
