Hi, wash1071,


Select the clip in the timeline and press Delete on your keyboard. The clip will be deleted from your timeline and an unedited version of the clip will remain in your Project Media. You can view the deleted clip in the media browser when you click on your project's name under the Project Media heading at the top of the sidebar on the left. All of the clips being used in the project (though not necessarily in the timeline), will be displayed in the media browser, including the deleted clip.
