Im using a Macbook Pro mid-2012 version, with OS X 10.9.5.
According to Apple, I should only upgrade my OS until Catalina, since the newer versions are no longer compatible with my laptop.
How can I upgrade my OS to Catalina?

Thank you! I was advised to upgrade my RAM (currently using total 4GB), and SSD, before downloading OS Catalina. Thanks for the link, will know where to go for the upgrade.
