Ever since my MacOS Big Sur update, his widget is always present. It occasionally "wakes up" and will dictate entire conversations in Messages if Messages is active. I want it gone. I never use Siri or dictate.

Erin, check the Accessibility system preference. In that preference pan look for the voice control option. I'm assuming that you will see "Enable Voice Control" checkbox checked. Uncheck it. If this doesn't fix your issue let us know.
