exporting iBooks author files to Pages

Is a certain version of Pages needed to open .iba files? I am using Pages v8.2 and get the following message when I try to open an iBooks author file in Pages: "The document xxx could not be opened. Pages cannot open files in the 'iBooks Author Book' format"

Yes, you must have Pages 10.1 or later
