IOS14 - bluetooth connection is constantly lost

Hello!

I installed the latest IOS (14.0.1) on my iPhone 11Pro and since then the bluetooth is not working perfectly. I use a 2nd gen. AirPods and the bluetooth connection suddenly lost when I’m playing music, during a video call (FaceTime, Teams etc.). At the top of the iPhone’s screen a popup message appears: “Airpods disconnected)”. Sometimes after a few seconds the connection recovers. If not I open the Bluetooth settings on my iPhone. The Airpods appears on the list but when I try to connect manually it can’t connect. I have to turn off/on the bluetooth.

Same problem with my infotainment system in my car. While I’m using gps or music app, or during a call the connection suddenly lost.

I tried these solutions:

restart/force restart iPhone
forget all of bluetooth devices and repair again
reset network settings
full restore iPhone

Does anyone have any idea what the solution might be?

Hey vasjanos,

If we understand correctly, the AirPods are losing the Bluetooth connection. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting to solve this issue. Even though there is a chance that you've tried these steps already, we would recommend you follow every step and let us know if the issue persists.

Reset your AirPods

Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
