Facetime won't work on my mac

when I call out on facetime, it doesn't ring on the other end and I can't receive calls on facetime on my mac

a few things that typically work

sign out of FaceTime, iCloud, iMessage out of make shutdown (not restart) log back into all.
Try again and see.
