Connecting 2 HDMI External monitors to my 2019 MacBook Pro with one adapter (thunderbolt 3 to hdmi). Is this possible?

Can I "daisy chain" the two externals using an hdmi cable and just plug my one adapter into one monitor?

Don't want buy a second adapter

Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI I have a 15" MacBook Pro (2015) running Catalina OS laptop which only has one HDMI port and two Thunderbolt 2 ports. I want to connect two Dell monitors to the laptop. I can use the HDMI port to connect one monitor, my question is what is the best way to connect the second monitor? Does Apple still sell Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI adapters? Or do I have to daisy-chain using a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter and a Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI adapter (will that even work and if so, what OS do I need)? Thanks!

can I connect two external monitors to my 2019 MacBook Air? I have a 2019 13" MacBook Air. I would like to attach two external monitors. I currently have one external monitor. Is a two-external-monitor setup easy or possible at all? Thank you, Wayne

No – you need separate adapters or a dual display dock (the latter will cost >$200). Only Thunderbolt can be daisy-chained.
