Command line: display video codec and format to find incompatible videos

Can anyone recommend a command-line tool for displaying the video codec and format for a specified video file? I'm trying to screen out and reconvert any files that are now Catalina-incompatible.

Have you observed the output of mdls?


mdls ./In_Which_We_Serve.mp4 | more


Shows Codecs, Audio bitrate, Content Type, Duration in seconds, etc.
