Verifying installation of Pro Video Formats problem

Hello!

According link down below Pro Video Format installation should show up in the list of installed files in System information. However both my Macs (Mojave and Catalina OS) don’t show the installation though I have installed it. Why is that? Is there something wrong?

Command line: display video codec and format to find incompatible videos Can anyone recommend a command-line tool for displaying the video codec and format for a specified video file? I'm trying to screen out and reconvert any files that are now Catalina-incompatible.

My dvd ripping capability through PAVtube doesn't work with newer macOS I was informed that my dvd ripping capability through PAVtube won't work with my new operating system because it needs to be updated. How do I do that? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Found a solution. I was looking apps instead of installation in System information.
