Mac Pro 2019 poor resolution output

Hello, I've got a Mac Pro 7,1 with an W5700x, and an Apple Cinema Display, that only displays resolution till 1280x720, ive tried everything in this list so far :

    • Restarting
    • Unplug everything and wait a couple of minutes
    • Update to last macOS version
    • Tried the display on a separate machine and it works at full 2560x1440

and the problem persists, any information would be really appreciated

exactly what cables and adapters are being used for this connection?

 Menu > About This Mac > (System Report) > Graphics & Displays ...

has two line items for a display:

• [actual] Resolution:

• UI [User Interface} Looks like:

When you choose scaled, you will see the 'UI looks like' numbers ONLY, not the [Actual] resolution. To avoid text being microscopic, it is scaled up by 1.2 or 1.5 or 1.8 or 2x what it would normally look like so you can read it.

Your adapter looks OK, and you don't appear to have exceeded the graphics card's ability to drive displays.

Another interesting experiment might be to disconnect one of the other displays and see if the problem display resolution can be set higher.

What ports on the computer are you using to connect these displays? All on the card? Some on the I/O card? Some on the top? Which is which?
