Apple Watch 3 not enough storage for Update 6.2.8

I have an Apple Watch 3 and would like to update to the latest update (6.2.8). I have 0 apps, 0 songs, and only 20 pictures on my watch, and I only have 1.7 gb of free space. Under usage, activity takes 104 mb, photos take 20.7 mb, calendar takes 17.5 mb and there are a three more less than that. There is not a way that I've tried to make room available for the new update.

Anyone else having the same issue, or know of a different way to update my watch?
