Master Fader Track...

My Master Fader Track disappeared from my Tracks window. How do I get it back or create a new one?

Do you mean on the mixer? if so just click MASTER/VCA above the channel strips.

Let me ask you, why dod you need the Master Channel Strip?

If you are not working in Surround, the Master Chanel Strip should be be at 0dB and never be changed. To avoid any accident and end up to be one of the countless users who post "why is the level of my mix low" on forums, hide the Master Channel Strip and the (borderline useless) Master Volume Slider in the Control Bar.

Unfortunately, the View Filter Button "Master/VCA" hides the Master Channel Strip and any VCA Master Faders (that's because the Master Channel Strip is a technically a VCA Master Fader).

So, if you don't VCA Groups or Folder Stacks (which are VCA Groups), then you can leave the button off and ignore the Master Channel Strip.

Hope that helps,
