Somehow, I got into a view mode where my track always reaches the right edge of the window, and I cannot drag the track out to extend the duration of the loop.
How do I get back to where I can scroll right, past the existing music and add things to the end of tracks?
I think I resolved this. Apparently, I had to extend my timeline by dragging out a tiny arrow in the upper right corner of the track list. I must have clicked something that truncated my project (???)

Maybe this is a clue: Before, the play head would continue past the end of my composition, but now it just stops at the end. I can drag the playhead to the right, out of the window, but the view will not scroll to it.
