Is there an inbetween keyboard shortcut rather than full screen or minimise what about just reduce to half fully screen?

There's no keyboard shortcut that I'm aware of, but if you hover over the green button in the top-left of any window, you get options to zoom the window to full screen/left half/right/half

Thanks for info. Just noticed that I don't have the colour on my buttons, only grey. But that is beside the point. The annoying thing for me is when I open up GarageBand, it will start with previous window settings, which is fine, i.e. only taking up part of the screen, if then click for new project it completely fills the screen. Yes I could then fill half the screen left or right which is not great or try to fiddle about with the double headed arrow up in the corner to reduce it down. It would be good if there was a preference option in GarageBand to open new projects in previously sized windows. Not a major issue I know, but it is sort of irritating for me. Just thought there would be a simple fix.

Regards
