My iPhone X is silenced it will vibrate but no ringer can you help

I can’t hear my phone ring when someone calls or message I looked in the do not disturb section and everything seems to be set on the correct mode

Have you checked the mute switch along the edge, near the external volume controls? Orange/Red showing = muted.

no ringer/vibrate when call comes in I have had this new iPhone 13 for a few weeks. Just noticed today that when I received a call the phone did not make a sound. I checked the mute switch and it is off. I went to settings and when I adjusted the ringer and alerts volume ringer made sound and a popup said "silent-mode off" Can't figure out how it is turned on. iPhone won’t ring My phone is not on silent, the volume is all the way up, and the do not disturb is turned off. What else causes this? It’s a new phone in otherwise excellent condition.

phone 10s phone recently updated to IOS15. lost the ringing when calls rec'd. but vibrate stiil works checked the obvious "don't disturb" is off. my purchased ring tone still ok (tested) HELP !!
