Photos

Since 27th May whenever I download photos they appear in 'imports' but not in photos (which means I can't delete the rubbish ones! Why is this?

Rest assured, if it shows up in Imports, it is in Photos, since they are just different ways of looking at all the images in the library.

Usually this happens because the date on the image is wrong, causing it to be stored in an unexpected order in Photos.


From the Import view, click on the Info button and verify that the date is correct.

I understand you're having trouble importing content to Photos on your Mac, and I want to help.

You should be able import specifically what you would like or everything, after importing you can delete from the external device and delete from your Photos library.
