Apple tv 1 year free

I just registered with my ipXR in order to get the 1 year free appletv. When I tried to sign in from my sony tv, within tv.apple.com, I was asking to apply my visa again, as I have already applied it when I registered through my ipXR. The thing is that, from the tv does not accept any debit cards. Should I apply another visa again? Charis

The documents say Windows PCs too. It doesn’t have to be Apple branded.

I can’t find details for specific browser support (just “in a supported web browser”), but up-to-date Firefox seems like a safe bet.

Apple had intended tv.apple.com for use on computers, not TVs with a webbrowser per se. What you are trying to do, may not be supported at all?

When you sign in to tv.apple.com for the first time, you might be asked to add or verify a credit card to ensure the account holder has authorized viewing on the web. [1] This is not about a payment, but about user verification. It is important that the card details match the payment method on file for this apple ID account, whether credit or debit.
