Series 2 Apple Watch won't update to Watch OS 6.2

I have a series 2 Apple Watch running OS 6.1.3...since being notified of update 6.2 availability I have been trying to install the update without success. It completes the download, then when I click "install" it goes through a preparing stage OK...then, it starts a "verifying" stage and after about 10 or 15 minutes, I get an error message saying the update failed to install, try again later...been doing that for almost 2 weeks now. I have reset the watch, restarted the watch, but still cannot get 6.2 to install. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you been trying to update the watch from your iPhone or directly on your watch? Try the other method, both can be found here:
