Instagram Videos

My Instagram account won’t play videos, when I click on a random video the sound will play but not the video just looking at a blank screen. I have tried everything, everything is up to date and everything is current. I know it’s not my phone even though everything is updated because I signed into another iPhone and the problem persists. Please someone help!! :)

videos on social media do not play iphone x ios 14.2 For several days I have not been able to see any videos on social media on my phone. The videos do not load on instagram (stories load but never play so they skip to the next one, feed videos play audio but the visuals are frozen). Twitter videos won’t play. Tiktok is a black screen or just a still image that is eternally loading. The only sites I can see video on, and just for a second, because if I pause or exit the app, the video freezes but the audio keeps playing, is Youtube and Facebook. My phone is the iPhone X and I am up to date with iOS 14.2. This same issue happened to me months ago and suddenly started working again. This is extremely frustrating as there is no help or answers for me, or anyone else asking about this issue.

Instagram Video Not Playing on MacBook Air in Safari, Chrome This issue began on or about August 1st. Instagram videos do not play on MacBook Air in either Safari or Chrome. OS Big Sur is updated. Caches emptied. After most recent update and restart, video played once, slowly, then no others would play. Clicking videos gets either a frozen image (Chrome) or black screen (Safari). Everything fine on iPhone 12.

I have no issues with Instagram video on my iPhone 6s, iOS 13.3.1
