I just updated to Catalina but not the Snip Tool does not work. I open it to capture a section of my document/screen and when I hit this my whole screen disappears and it goes to a blank desktop page. Why is it doing this and how can I get it to go back to actually snipping a piece of document that I want? Thanks

Are you using the Screenshot app in the Applications-->Utilities folder or something else?
This is a clip from Screenshot using Catalina. Screenshot is a standard Apple app in the iOS for a while. I'm sure there are others.
