Will the Apple Watch still ping from the find my iPhone app if I lost it in my house and it is dead?

Is there a way I can check the last location of dead lost Apple watch? Hi all, I lost my Apple Watch two months ago, my watch is paired with my IPhone and Find My is enabled. The current location showing in Find My is the location of my IPhone, since my watch is definitely dead by now. If the watch is dead then it is incapable of transmitting anything.
