My mac air is acting very wierd

My macbook air is not acting the way it did when I first purchased it can any one help here is a list of symptoms


1. Caps lock wont turn off but light is not on.


2. It types two letters insted of one


3. Types 1 letter with a character


4. Screen turns off and on


5. Cant type password because of this issue


And there are other symptoms I'm not sure I can explain because I dont know the proper terms

Turn the computer off and then turn it back on holding the shift key until the Apple icon appears. This is safe mode and it will take longer to start than normal (assuming that your keyboard problems don't keep you from getting into safe mode). If this doesn't work you can plug a USB keyboard into the computer and use it instead. Safe mode loads a minimal number of drivers and startup programs and is very useful for diagnosing problem.s


Once the computer has booted into safe mode, use your computer's keyboard and see if these odd problems are occurring still. If yes, take the computer to an Apple store or authorized repair center. If no then there's some program that is causing the problem. Come back and we can explore just what it is.
