3rd Generation iPod Shuffle- I need help resetting the device

I recently acquired an iPod shuffle, 3rd generation from someone who was going to throw it away and never really used it. It has 4 songs on it. I am trying to reset the device so I can load some music on it and gift it to an elderly gentleman who would love to use it. I have downloaded and updated iTunes to version 12.10.3.1 and downloaded and installed iPod support. I am running Windows 10. From the instructions that I have read online, you are supposed to plug in the device after you've opened iTunes, then select the device from the list of devices and select restore. The device shows up in the list but the only options that show up when you right-click are Eject, Transfer Purchases and Reset Warnings. Left clicking expands and collapses the iPod folder hierarchy- Music, Audiobooks, Playlists. Can someone point me in the right direction for this device or do I have a shiny piece of junk now?

Okay. Found the correct icon to click on, found the summary and restored the device. Trying to learn to transfer content to the device. Unfamiliar territory.
