i do not want to use iCloud

I kind of hate iCloud in some ways, I just want to save my documents to my harddrive like a normal person, and i do not know how to disable iCloud, PLEASE tell me how to stop this so i can just save my documents to my desktop like a normal person. thank you

Don't sign out apple id from system preferences > iCloud , just turn on iCloud Drive and in front of iCloud Drive click option button and check the box of desktops and documents .
