When I swipe right, I get a whole list of things but no search bar and no way to find my apps.

On my iPad Pro I used to be able to swipe right and get a search bar that would allow me to quickly find an app I needed. Now when I swipe right, I get a whole list of things - music, photos, etc. - but no search bar and no way to find my apps. What happened to my search bar and how can I get it back?
