A TouchBar Mac does not support W7.

Is W7 a typo, instead of W10? 😕

  • What is the year/model of your Mac (do not post the serial number)?
  • What is the current macOS version?

The last Mac to support W7 is a 2014 Mac. See Install Windows 7 on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support for reference.

Thanks - after reading your reply, I deleted the Windows 7 partition and ran a Windows 10 installation, which is looking good so far. I’m on the desktop now and I think it’ll be great.

I used to have a Retina MBP and it was great. The Touchbar isn’t bad. I don’t need Windows 7 specifically, I just find it more straightforward than Windows 10.

I really prefer using a Mac for my work, but I have to work with Windows environments a lot.

Looking good, thanks again for your help.
