DISTORTION FILTERS
What happened to the distortion filters in imovie and will they be coming back?

In iMovie 10, in the tool bar at the upper right of your screen there is:
An Equalizer button for noise reduction and hum reduction as well as other audio adjustments; and
A stabilizer button for stabilizing shaky video.
Also, when you have Show Wave Forms activated from the Settings button on the right side of your screen above the time line, a horizontal line will appear in the audio clip that you can move up and down to eliminate volume distortion.
That is what the software provides at the present time. No way of knowing whether any other filters will be added or subtracted in the future.
