How do I get rid of a partition in a NEW LaCie external hard drive?

Just picked up a LaCie Rugged Triple 2TB and its showing as two (2) volumes and nothing in Disk Utility seems to able to fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do delete a internal hard-drive partition? I accidentally partition my HD on Mac pro. Now I have a HD hard-drive and a HD DATA hard-drive. I tried to delete HD hard-drive using disk utility, but the option is greyed out.
