place where paste track in garage band makes a click

When using garageband 10.1.1 there is an audible click where I cut and paste regions in a track. Solution?

Try to cut the regions, where the track is perfectly silent.

If that is not possible, use the volume automaton curve for the track to silence the position where the region has been cut. Drag the automation curve down to zero to fade the transition between the two regions in and out.
