Hello!
- Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth. Does it appear greyed out or "Not Available?"
So in system preferences, when I go to Network and select Bluetooth PAN, it says not connected, and i have no option to connect. In the top bar of my computer, the bluetooth symbol is greyed out, has a line through it, and says not available.
- Hold down the option key, and then, click on the Apple Logo on the macOS menu bar. Select System Information... > Hardware > Bluetooth. Does it still appear unavailable here?
It says "No information found"
- If both of the above is true, then I suggest that you run Apple Diagnostics to see if it uncovers anything amiss with your notebook's Bluetooth component. Ref: How to use Apple Diagnostics on your Mac - Apple Support
I ran diagnostics (shut down computer, held down D on reboot) and it didn't come up with anything.....
Thank you for your help!
