Battery power draining quicker after latest update. Battery fully charged and after 7 hours is down to 23%. Battery Capacity is at 72%. No apps running. 1 day earlier I used the SwingU golf app on watch and battery drain to 0% after 4.5 hours. This was not a problem prior to update.

In the evening I restart and restore watch from backup, charged to 99% at 9pm, now at 7am a have 78% (I sleep in watch). Now battery is ok, like before update to 26.0.2.

Try wipe and restore from backup
If the battery health drops below 80%, you should get the battery replaced. I had to recharge my old Series 5 twice a day when art reached 80%. After the replacement the battery life went back to normal.

A few FB posts suggest waiting a few days as this is normal after updates. I will give it a go first. Yes I have seen the Apple support page regarding this problem. If things don't go back to normal, I will definitely get a new battery fitted as battery capacity has dropped to 72%. Thanks very much.
My Apple Watch Ultra (AWU2) used to have a battery life of approximately 2.5 days between charges before upgrading to watchOS 26.0.2. Its battery life has since decreased significantly, now lasting barely one day.
Also, with this update, the fitness app is not working properly. Before, every minute was getting captured, and now even if I walk for 5 minutes with the app switched on, it is not taking the minutes at all. Seriously disappointed with the new updates and with the Battery backup.

I have the same problem with my AW7, earlier on end of the day a have about 15-20% battery, now in ios26.0.2 I need charging at 4-5pm to add 20% battery to last to the evening 8pm

Same here. Apple Watch Ultra Battery Health 84%.
With Watch OS 26 battery lasted 1,5 Days, After updating to 26.0.2 under 24 Hours.

So there's been a bit of an improvement over the last 2 days. Tomorrow will be the big test when is use the SwingU Golf App.

it used to last more than a day with my typical usage. Post update to 26.0.2 23% battery drain in just 45 min and barely able to go through half day
