Unable to see which number was dialed for contacts with multiple numbers on iPhone with iOS 26

When I dial number from my contact , it is not clear which number has been dialled out of multiple contact numbers in that name?

Apple is now the king of "Friction". Too many clicks to get to report a problem! No transparency in the Phone app. I can no longer see from which number someone called if they have multiple numbers in my Contacts app. I see this is a known problem. How/when is this going to be resolved?
