Apple TV stuck on India Screensaver permanently. .

After the Apple TV OS 26 software update I have been stuck on an India Aerial screensaver which will not change. I’ve tried several restarts and to hide the India screensavers without success.

See if you can go through each theme to Hide All, restart, then go back to show all to see if there’s any change. My screensavers are messed up as well. I lost a bunch and also lost them on the 18.6 and had to perform 2 resets to get them going. After the first reset is when I noticed my storage had suddenly dropped to not much free space, which might explain them not downloading new ones each day (if you set to daily). Mind you mine are not even downloading daily now on tvOS 26. I might need to do a factory reset again. It’s really the only way you can fix the issue unfortunately. Before I proceed with a Reset I’m going to troubleshoot my wifi to see if this is the issue. There’s an App called TV Info you can install to check on storage.

Thanks for the reply. I tried hiding them all however it’s still stuck on the Earth India screensavers despite me choosing Cityscape as my chosen Aerials. I also tried several restarts. There’s no issue with being out of memory as I have no games downloaded and a small number of apps with a 32GB version of the first generation AppleTV 4K. Apple should have not have released this software as it’s clearly not fit for purpose.

I too have no games and just your regular minimal amount of streaming apps at 32GB (2nd gen) but my first gen with same storage space ,exact same apps has a lot more space left. I have all the screensavers on there. Nothing went wrong with the update.

if you only have just one in the wrong theme then the hide and show isn’t working. If you hide all, one by default remains. Im going to Reset mine now. Good luck with yours!
