Tahoe 26.0 iPhone Mirroring more than 1 iPhone

Updated my OS on personal M1 MacBook pro yesterday, clean install but iPhone Mirroring is giving me problems connecting.

I have 2 phones, both are also upgraded to iOS 26.

The work phone has Microsoft Teams & Outlook and there are various company policies that prevent things like screenshots which I suspect is the reason why the iPhone mirroring on my personal MacBook Pro won't work. Thing is I don't even want it to connect, I want to use my personal iPhone but it wont let me switch, how can I switch if its never fully connected successfully the first time?

Note** I see the work iPhone apps are now listed in my Apps, but yet again, I want to remove the work iPhone completely. It used to work fine switching in the previous macOS... There is no option in mac/Settings/Dock and I did try 'Revoking' access for work phone but it doesn't show/allow the personal phone to even show up, even when its connected directly to the personal computer using usb cable.

Also tried rebooting the phones, the computer, and turning off the work phone, nothing works.

Hi everyone!

I had the same issue after updating my system and getting the iPhone 17. I also couldn’t change the iPhone for mirroring in the settings at first. What helped me was:

  1. First, I revoked access on my Mac: iPhone Mirroring → Settings → Revoke Access.
  2. Then, I revoked access on the iPhone: Settings → General → AirPlay & Connectivity → iPhone Mirroring.
  3. I turned off my old phone and restarted my Mac.
  4. After that, when I tried to set up iPhone mirroring, my Mac finally showed the option to add a second iPhone.
  5. Now, in Settings → Desktop & Dock → under iPhone Widgets, I can choose between the old (iPhone 13 mini) and the new iPhone 17.

I hope this helps!

It should still be there in Tahoe, just under the iPhone Widgets switch.

Can you revoke access to the iPhone under the iPhone Mirroring app settings?

Open the iPhone Mirroring App, go to the iPhone Mirroring Menu, Settings and "Revoke Access to [name of iPhone]".

The corporate policies may be preventing it form appearing in the Macs settings somehow.

Is there any update on this? Having the same issue. I already revoked access to my previous phone. There is no option to change phones in "Desktop and Dock settings" in Tahoe. Also trying to connect to my new 17 PM.

iPhone Mirroring system requirements

iPhone Mirroring can be used with only one Mac and one iPhone at a time. Your devices must meet these requirements.

Important: To use iPhone Mirroring, it must be available in your country or region. iPhone Mirroring is currently unavailable in the European Union.

This doesn't work. Phone's off, mac's rebooted, under the settings menu there's 0 phones listed at all, there's not even a dropdown to select any phone there. And the second I open up iPhone Mirroring, even though my one phone is off, it's still only seeing that and only trying to connect to that. There has to be a way to 100% clear app data for iphone mirroring that can fix this?!??!
