News App not in Apple Business Manager "Apps and Books"

We manage apps with our MDM. A user deleted but now wants Apple News. He cannot add it from App Store because we manage his apps. I cannot add it from Apple Business Manager since it does not appear. I have Selected iPhone as the App Type in the filter and tried by searching by the app id 1**********0, but cannot get it to appear. Any ideas?

Apple News Restrictions I have got the apple one subscription and it has synced between devices. On my iPhone I cannot open the news app nor find it in the App Library. I have to spotlight search to find it and then I get an error saying restrictions are being applied. I have checked and there are no restrictions turned on. I have restarted the phone, turned restrictions on and off again, but still no success. Please assist.

Customizing the Apple News feed I keep asking Apple News to “suggest less” on stories in my feed in an attempt to customize the news feed. But I keep getting more of the same kind of stories. How long is it supposed to take Apple to reflect my preferences using this system? Also, why is there no search function in the News app for iPhone on the main screen when you want to find a story that you saw but can’t find it in your feed any longer? There is a search under “manage favorites,” but search should be easily accessible from the home screen of the app.

Apple News on CarPlay According to some.. I should be able to see/hear Apple News thru CarPlay, but I can’t. I am subscribed to Apple News Plus, I see it on my iPhone (SE 12) but it does not show on CarPlay. Apple Music does.. and Apple Maps and others. When I select (on my phone) General -> CarPlay -> Palisade -> Customize… there is a list of Apps that show on my Vehicles screen (two Calendar & Google Maps have a “-“ sign where presumably I could remove them) but there seems no options available with the others. And the “more apps” at the bottom of the screen is greyed out and not available. So, thoughts? Suggestions? Are there some setting that prevent me adding apps to CarPlay?
